Kid's Rooms and Bathroom

Picking back up with the house tour, I thought I would share pictures of the kid's bedrooms and bathroom (which just happens to be the rest of the upstairs!). There is a landing at the top of the staircase, the master bedroom is down the hall on the right, and the kid's rooms are on the left. The landing is still a work-in-progress (I feel like most of our house is, actually). I plan to hang something on the wall above the desk, just haven't figured out what.
You can see the room Brooke and Bethany share from the staircase. I love walking up the stairs and seeing the sunlight in their room.
The pom-poms were from Brooke's 5th birthday party, and they survived the move. They were a little squished when we pulled them out of the boxes, but the girls really wanted them in their room, so we hung and fluffed and made them work. Their armoire is across from the foot of the bed, beside the quilt rack (somehow it didn't make it into the pictures).
The closet in their bedroom is a set of sliding doors. I originally thought they were really weird, but now I like them.
Each girl has her own side of the closet, and there is plenty of space for shoes, purses, bags, and tubs of out-of-season clothing. As an added bonus, we didn't have to arrange furniture with space for a door to open out into the room. Sounds trivial, but it was actually very nice considering we already had to work around the placements of air vents in the walls (they aren't in the ceilings like houses back home).

Bo's bedroom is next door to the girls. Here is the view from the doorway.
It is set up very similar to his room in Texas.
He also has the sliding closet doors.
Because the shelf in his old room was bolted to the wall, we had to leave it when we sold the house. I picked up a new one the other day, just need it to warm up a little so I can spray paint it and hang it above the dresser.
The kid's bathroom is down the hall towards the master bedroom. It is a pretty small room, but it does have a full size bathtub, so it is larger than the master bathroom!
There is just enough space on the vanity for toothbrushes, soap and earrings.
This is the view from outside the bathroom, looking back towards the bedrooms.
We use the little closet for linens and bath towels, since there is no storage space in the bathrooms. I also have plastic grocery bags hanging in there for use in the bathroom trash cans-I'm too lazy to walk downstairs twice a week to grab new ones, so keeping them in here works for us.

I love the pom poms! I am wanting to make some for Chloe's bday coming up and I just cannot figure them out. Did you make yours? If so, can you give me some hints! Love the blog and the house tour...

Had to get out of bed to come take a look, just remembered you updated. Looks like it is all coming together quite nicely!
