This picture was taken last Friday, at exactly one month...little Bo is still a peanut.
Weight: 8 lbs 11 oz (26%tile)
Length: 21 inches (33%tile)
We had his one month checkup, and his pediatrician said he thinks Bo will be 'short and stocky' (his words, not mine) like his dad. He's a church friend, so I guess he can say that, although Rob would have preferred 'broad' or 'muscular' instead of stocky. Bo gained almost one pound during the first month, which was quite the accomplishment considering all the feeding problems we had. He never really figured out how to nurse, and after losing way too much weight we switched him over to formula. It was not an easy decision, but he is healthy now and that is our goal...a happy, healthy baby!
Brooke informed me that Bo is kind of lazy...she is looking forward to him being a little older so they can play. He is eating every 2.5-3 hours, and spends most of the time between feedings sleeping. The most exciting thing he does right now is sit in his bouncy seat and stare at us while we talk to him. The girls recently found the toy bar that goes across the bouncy seat, and insisted we try it out-I think they were more entertained by it than Bo was! He seems to be a little more alert every day, and we are on the lookout for the first little smiles and coos that should be coming in the next few weeks!

What a sweet little boy! So funny that Brooke thinks he's lazy. Sorry to hear about the feeding problems. Did you nurse the girls? (I can't remember that far back...)
Bonny-Bethany nursed for a little over 13 months when she self-weaned. Brooke had the same issues Bo had, lost tons of weight, my milk dried, up, etc., so she was on formula. I think it was easier to make the switch this time since we've been through it before and know my body doesn't respond to pumping, adding supplements, etc...when the milk is gone, it's gone!
