Bo William-One Month

Baby Bo is one month old today, but it feels like he has been here forever! He is such a sweet little boy, and we have enjoyed getting to know him over the past few weeks. He looks at us with a very serious gaze and has started searching for our faces when he hears us talking. And he is starting to be more alert during the day, which I'm hoping will lead to more sleep at night! For some reason he thinks 3am is time to start the day...we're working on that!Brooke and Bethany love their little brother, and fight over who gets to hold him when he is awake. Bethany likes to pick out his clothes in the morning (which explains why he wears his tie onesies so much-she likes him fancy!) and insists that he always wear socks and crib shoes. She is my helper during the day, talking to Bo while he is in his swing or bouncer, running to grab diapers or a paci for me and occassionally helping hold a bottle when he is hungry.Brooke asks for Bo the minute she gets home from school, and is happy to hold him as long as he is not fussy...as soon as he gets squirmy she hands him back to me! She has one of his birth announcements in her backpack so her friends can check out her new brother, and she told me the lunch ladies want to see him so she might need a picture for her lunchbox-too funny! We have spent most of the last month on house arrest, as ordered by our pediatrician, trying to stay away from any sick germs. We did make an exception for Bethany's 4th birthday party, but Bo slept through the entire thing, nestled in his carseat and tucked in the corner away from all the kiddos. We are looking forward to spring and warmer weather...this staying home stuff is making us all a little stir crazy!
